A Little Bit About Me...

I left full time teaching 3 years ago. I was the whole math dept. I taught 6,7,8,9th grade math in a private school. I did not realize how much I would miss it. I sometimes day dream about how I would teach a certain topic a different way. I have always thought that teaching is magical. My teaching style is replete with visuals and drawing an analogy from nature to help understand abstract concepts of science. My Undergraduate studies involved extensive study Art history and my Masters Diploma in Textiles helped me a lot in research studies.I also won a scholarship to study Strategic Design in Milan. A Little Bit About Me...

I am currently working as a Teacher in a special education classroom. I have three students, all with server autism. I have to manage 3 TA's in the classroom. I work with the NYS standards to follow and manage student IEPs.
I personally believe that all students are individuals in their learning styles and each student should be approached differently.
