I am an Italian Professor in College in the Boston area. I am 27 years old and I have been tutoring Italian and Latin for 7 years and I really enjoyed it. I have a very nice relationship with my students but I like to work hard with them. My mission here is to spread my beautiful language and culture in US!
I like to use a communicative way of teaching: I use songs, videos, games to teach the language to my students, and I believe that is really important for them to hear me talk in my own language. For Latin I usually try to teach the grammar first and to make the student think about the words we have to translate.

I have not yet become a classroom teacher. I have already applied to summer school programs throughout the state. As a coach, I feel that it is essential to inspire students/my student athletes. If you can ingite a desire to learn in students, I believe everything falls into place after that. My teaching style is to enable students to learn on their own and take command of their education. I believe that the best way to learn is to make the education process interactive by posing questions and guiding students, rather than have them mimic what I do. By having them think, the students feel more engaged and interested.
