Coming from an academic family with a father who is a Philosophy professor and a mother who studied child developmental psychology, I understand the importance of a quality education. I earned two bachelor degrees, one in Spanish and one in Anthropology. I have linguistic and cultural competence because of many years of traveling. I am an avid reader in Spanish and English. Through the experience of pursuing my degree at Boston University, I was exposed to many different styles of learning and teaching due to my interdisciplinary concentration in Latin American Studies. My philosophy has always been, "make it interesting and they will learn." However, what is interesting to you and I may not be interesting to the next person. My highest math course was in differential equations, also I completed physics, chemistry, and electrical course material.
