My comments on tutoring Italian : Italian and German are my native languages. I have taught Italian for many years from the beginner to the advanced level. It is my goal to function as a catalyst for the most disparate students in honing their grammar, reading, speaking, listening, and reading skills. Along with pure training in language acquisition, I offer Intercultural Training designed to help professionals in their respective business settings to better interact with their counterparts and become more efficient communicators according to their interlocutor's culture and background.
I have worked for almost fifteen years with students from all walks of life who desire to hone their language skills for many different reasons. My experience goes back to coaching, teaching, and training high-ranking professionals on a one-on-one basis to assembly-line workers in need of foreign language skills to better their careers, to students trying to get a decent grade in college, to privates with an interest for foreign cultures and a love for words, literature, and different lifestyles.The languages I have most often taught are German, Italian, ESL, and Koine Greek. Along with the mere teaching of these languages, I often engage in interpretation or translation as the needs arise among my clientele.
