I have tutor elementary students since I started college back in 2009. I use to go to three different schools during my spare time to go help the teachers. I noticed that I really like it and therefore I decided to tutor High School students for a year. I never did got the opportunity to tutor Middle School students, but I have a brother who attends middle school and whenever he needs help I tend to help him. I want to become a teacher when I grow up because I am patient, responsible, and I love spending time with kids. To be honest I do not see myself doing anything else, but teach. I am always looking for possible ways to tutor even when looking for a job. I have worked with the LAUSD district, at Granada Hills Elementary School, as an Instructional AID. This position required me to work with students hands on, either in groups or one-on-one. I helped students who were either falling behind on subjects or were having trouble finishing assignments. I was a teacher's aid and did some tutoring I high school. I completed two (2) business programs at West Valley Occupational Center in Computer and Office work. We focused on Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint both the 2007 and 2010 versions and QuickBooks. I was also a teacher's aide and tutor at West Valley Occupational Center.
