Marine Biology is one of my top subjects!

My style of tutoring is creative flexibility. I assess the student's learning style and try to adapt to that, using different senses (kinetic, aural, oral) to trigger best responses. However, this is layered over a basic multi-part structure suited to the subject. I also like to set up a schedule of what our hour will be like, with some beginning exercises (usually recall from previous session). The rest of the hour would be structured with student input as much as possible. At the end, I like to introduce some free time to talk about the lesson and about any new ideas.
I have a masters degree in Enviornmental Biology and a BA in pre-med sciences. I also have an AA degree in Dietetics. My other hat is a long career in writing, editing, and publishing. A Little Bit About Me...

Experience gained is not what truly counts it's ones desire to learn through experience that's seperates oneself. Through five years in college and five years in a special education classroom i have learned many things. What i take most from ten years of experience is a mindset to never-give-up. Most day's learning in the classroom are forgetable because the student does not retain information into their long term memory.
