Trigonometry is one of my top subjects! I am a Tennessee licensed and certified mathematics teacher for grades 7-12. I have 8 years experience teaching at the high school level. I taught high school Pre-Calculus for three years. I also have experience tutoring students with college level Pre-Calculus. I have also taught the Tennessee curriculum course - Advanced Algebra and Trigonometry for two years. I am very skilled with trigonometry; it is one of my favorite subjects to teach!

I am a very energetic teacher, and I try to incorporate as much FUN into learning as I can. Tutoring students and resolving confusion are simply additional problems to solve in math. Since many students learn in different ways, one must be able to explain the same concept in various ways. The development of these alternate methods of description is a great way for not only the student to learn but also for the tutor to better understand the material.
In my final year at MTSU, Spring and Fall 2010, I had the pleasure of tutoring in mathematics. I worked for both the department of mathematics and the athletic enrichment center, each providing a different tutoring experience. This tutoring, coupled with my extensive math coursework, has provided a greater mathematical understanding and teaching experience.
