A Little Bit About Me...

During and after my college years, I have always had an interest in helping others become better writers. For three years I worked as a tutor at Alfred University's writing center. I also have eight years of experience teaching junior high English at a rigorous school. The school I teach in has a back-to-basics curriculum with a focus on the rules of grammar and writing. I not only taught in the classroom, but also dedicated my time after school to tutoring individual students.
I believe that all students can achieve in an academically and behaviorally rigorous environment. Since then I worked for the City of Boulder as a tennis instructor for 7 more years and I coached tennis to individual tennis players, mostly promising junior players, for an additional 4 years.
