When I am teaching I am very patient and try to organize the lesson or my assistance in steps. I'll have the child read the problem or question, ask what they know about it, see if they understand the question and proceed. The patient style helps me see what the student's strengths and weaknesses are so I know what they need to practice and focus on. If the child has multiple assignments or tasks I have them perform the more difficult ones first. Starting with the easy assignments may seem like it makes sense but I would prefer that the student have more energy for the tasks they'll have more difficulty with. During my high school years I would volunteer to help children through various charities and church. In 1991, I earned a dual Major BBA in Finance and Management Information Systems with honors. Concurrently with these degrees and taking 20+ credit hours per quarter, I was tutoring students in Financial Management, Algebra, and Economics. I have spent the past 15 years as an Entrepreneur while I also accomplished getting my MBA from the University of Chicago GSB/Booth School of Business in 2008.
