I chose to receive a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts, so I could study many different fields, rather than focus on only one. I was thrilled with reading and literature courses; history; fine arts; sociology and humanities. I have always had a love of reading and I was happy to share the joy of reading when I volunteered my time to help struggling and early readers in elementary school. In addition, I have developed and taught art classes for adults; as well as Sunday School classes for children.
I believe everyone learns best when the subject matter is interesting and engaging to that student. I have always tried to adapt my curriculum to the interests of my students. I'm patient and recognize feelings when somebody doesn't understand. I really believe that understanding Maths or Physics is easy when the required background is present. It's like a chain where chapters are links required to continue to the next one. If you loose one it's hard to get other. That's why the first step is knowing the student's level.
