A Little Bit About Me...

My experience with education has always been an awesome one. I love learning and I love teaching. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. This degree has allowed me to follow a passion that I have for teaching and learning. It has enabled me to understand and help others to understand many concepts in science. I also minored in Spanish, which allowed me to travel to Mexico for two summer semesters abroad. These summers allowed emmersion into the culture and helped to solidify my knowledge of the language. Over the past 3 years I have taught students to love learning and build a passion for science and spanish.

I recently completed a Youth Staff contract aboard Royal Caribbean. Along with entertainment, we promoted learning and creativity, offering educational activities through science experiments, and expression through art projects, theme nights, and parades. I've taught English classes for kids/teens in Brazil, and led equestrian programs in Greece for troubled and disabled local children. Prior to leaving the US, I filled my passion tutoring “at risk” children after school in Buffalo, and working to develop language skills through cultural activities for families in Boston. I have a special talent for literature, writing, and art, but also love math and science.
