I really enjoy tutoring. I love watching the students gain confidence as we work through the problems. I believe my attitude and approach to teaching helps the students. I provide enough understanding to the students but still challenge them. The worst thing you can do, is just give the answers. Throughout my school experience, I have been a top performer. I attended a "gifted" program in elementary school. I was the Valedictorian at Hagerstown Junior/Senior High School in Hagerstown, Indiana. I received a full-tuition scholarship to the University of Evansville in Evansville, Indiana. There, I majored in Economics and was a tutor for Micro- and Macroeconomics students my junior and senior years. My economics degree gave me a broad understanding of mathematics (I took Statistics and Calculus I-III), but also gave me experience in technical writing.
