My comments on tutoring Drama : I began acting while in high school and have multiple stage credits to my name, both in school and community productions. Most of my experience with musical theater (I have voice training as well) and comedy, but I can offer assistance with all forms of drama and acting (line memorization and delivery, stage instruction, stage presence, etc...).

I am a patient and understanding teacher. I enjoy fostering close relationships with my students so that I can cultivate my methods to best suit their learning style.
I have a degree in English and Creative Writing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and have two years experience writing for the Daily Tar Heel. I have also completed internships with the local NPR station, WUNC, and with the organization AGRADU (Advocates for Grassroots Development in Uganda). I am highly organized, responsible, and driven, and am very personable. I work well with children and young adults; I am the oldest of five children and during high school and college, I worked as a dance teacher and nanny. From my experiences teaching acting in Durham NC I know education can I know that learning can be fun. I hold a Bachelor's from UNC Greensboro where I majored in Psychology and theater arts, but also took many literature credits to fulfill a special educational program in which I was placed. this program was for gifted students. A Little Bit About Me...

For the past two years, I was the high school English teacher in a small, rural Alaskan village located on the Yukon River. This teaching position was very challenging--I had to teach several subjects, such as English, social studies, geography, art, keyboarding, drama, journalism, and digital photography. During this opportunity I was responsible for grading the daily work of our students, as well as being a resource for the students design projects.
