My comments on tutoring Pre-Algebra: I am actually capable of teaching college algebra because I passed it easily with an A. However I am only comfortable tutoring pre-algebra to students. It doesn't require a special calculator normally and can all be done with pencil and paper as all math should be. In my pre-algebra classes on campus I often helped my Proff explain some of the concepts to the other students in a language that was easier for them to understand.
