My teaching style depends on the student. I am comfortable with trying different study methods in order to figure out why my student is having trouble with a particular subject.
I have a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. I love being able to help students feel comfortable with the material they are studying. I like to use the hands on approach. I find out what the weaknesses are of my students and address the topics by giving a general review. I present a problem for them to work out. After a few minutes, I ask them what they think is the best way to approach the problem. If they cannot come up with one, I then guide them through the appropriate thinking pattern in order for them to solve the problem. A Little Bit About Me...

I currently attend graduate school at Stony Brook where I'm working towards a Master of Public Health degree. I have undergraduate degrees in Physical Therapy and Biomathematics. I am excellent with standardized test preparation, never having placed less than the 90th percentile in any standardized test. I have never been a formal tutor.
