A Little Bit About Me...

Once taught a 7 year-old Korean boy Chinese when I was a sophomore---I found being a personal tutor is challenging and interesting, because you should adjust your teaching method cater to the student based on your observation on him/her as well as the communication through all the process. I have a Bachelor's degree in History and an Associate's in Process Technology. I am a member of Phi Theta Kappa honor society. I possess excellent math skills and took statistics in college. I enjoy helping others and feel I am a good fit for this position.

I have accumulated 92 credit hours toward a Bachelor of Science in Education with an emphasis in Art. Currently I am involved with the Y-Read volunteer program and for the past few years have tutored one on one with adolescent children specifically in Reading and Language Arts. I have 2 years experience teaching one on one ESL to adults. I am a certified Foster Parent with the St. Louis Social Services Department.
