Instead of just answering a question or stating why something is the way it is, we'll work it out so there is real understanding, not just memorization of facts (which will ultimately be forgotten and thus a waste of time.) The focus is more on the method of solving the given problem rather than just the end result whenever possible.

A Little Bit About Me...

I fully love my architecture career, but I have never lost my love for math and science! Every day I use basic math, geometry, and even physics (to calculate structural components). I started tutoring in 7th grade back in 1976. I have been tutoring my own kids for over 14 years. I have been a Scout leader for over 9 years. I worked with boys ages 5 to 18 years of age. I have brought 2 learning disabled teens into my home to help them graduate High School. Both have gone on to be Certified Welders.
