I am certified to teach secondary mathematics and social studies by the state of OHIO. I also enjoy teaching college students and tutoring on a weekly basis. I teach for the students to learn and to enjoy the learning process. I am satisfied when I see the students are able to grasp the concepts on their own and see how the application works. I am graduating in May,2010. I have been tutoring for more than two years at the Bowling Green State University Firelands College. My teaching style is basic. I feel it is most important for a student to grasp the basics before they can move on to more complicated subject material. I also am a strong believer of parental involvement. A parent knows their children's learning patterns best. I like to use different approaches.
