I graduated high school in 2010 with a 3.8 GPA. I excelled in every aspect except math. I graduated the University of Southern Mississippi in 2014 with a 3.8 GPA. I have a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism and a minors in Spanish. I have held several jobs. Most of them have been in sales. My most recent job involved interviewing others and also plenty of writing as well as using video editing programs. Patient, but committed. I try very hard to communicate effectively with students by speaking to them with an adult. I really enjoy communication and the learning process. I enjoy seeing others succeed.

Since I have been around 15, starting with my growing nieces, it has always stood out to me how the child's brain develops. Seeing one of my nieces grasp material quicker than the other. I took up two years of Early Childhood Education in high school as a co-op class and learned a lot about the development of children. I didn't want it to stop there so I signed up for City Year. which is a nonprofit organization which focuses of students in low-income neighborhoods with a high rate of high school drop-outs and our ultimate goal is to work with children so they are on the aim line to graduate 12th grade. I, myself, work very closely with the middle school kids of San Jose, CA and even so more closely to 6th graders, tutoring mostly in ELA (English, Reading, Language, Comprehension) and teaching in the 3-hour after school program about things from the solar system to how to multiply and di

I do not have experience with tutoring, but I have had College English Comp. I and II. My teacher I had was very strict about spelling, grammar, etc. She wrote a grammar book and helped write a couple other books, so she was pretty strict about everything we done. I made an A+ in English Comp. I my first semester of college and made a B+ my second semester of college. My teaching style will depend on the students learning style.

I graduated from high school in 2011 with special honors and as co-valedictorian. I am now attending the University of Mississippi where I am majoring in accountancy and minoring in business. My passion is writing, so naturally that is what I do best. Every year, I am contacted by numerous students from my high school and also my classmates at Ole Miss about proofreading their papers. I have also worked with helping students study for math classes, including but not limited to pre-algebra and algebra.
