I believe in incorporating multiple methods of teaching language, and with such a complex topic as learning a second, or even third language I also believe in tailoring said methods to the student's specific needs. For example, if one finds a kindred with music, introducing them to french songs would be one of the stronger ways to accomplish fluency and language recognition. My comments on tutoring Poetry : Able to tutor/teach all elements of Poetry.

I believe in tutoring so that the child receives feedback and fully understands his/her own limitations and how to overcome obstacles in class. Many children lack positivity in the methodology! I also believe that using art instruction helps children to learn in a more creative manner.
I have over of 30 years of progressive experience in tutoring young children in the elementary years of education in all subject matter areas. Because of my love for literature, I decided to engage in the teaching profession. I earned my BA at Salisbury University and immediately was offered a job teaching high school English. While teaching, my love for reading and writing continued to grow and influced me to pursue a masters degree in Reading Specialization. I have assisted a number of students; Grades 1-12 as well as college-aged and continuing education in various math and science courses.
