I am an ESL teacher with 5 years of experience. I earned a degree that corresponds to MA in Philology and English language. Having graduated from Tambov state university in Tambov, Russia, i worked in a public lyceum and later in a private language center. Having moved to Mexico in 2010, I applied to an internationally acknowledged language school Harmon Hall and was offered a position of ESL teacher, which I accepted. My comments on tutoring English ESOL : I tutored ESL students for 3 years at an academy and privately. I am currently enrolled in a class to receive a TEFL/TESOL certification.

A student cannot learn unless he is comfortable and confident. My first priority before teaching is to make sure the student is relaxed and believes he can accomplish the goal. I also like to get to know my student to know what kind of learner he is and what he likes. My teaching style is "delight directed" whenever possible.
In 2001, I received my certification in Elementary Education from CCSU. I then substitute taught for the town of West Hartford for 2 years while I got married and had my son. He had a lot of health problems so the decision was made for me to stay home with him. I have always loved to teach – even as a child in front of a tiny blackboard in my living room, playing school with my sister. Since then, I have continuously sought opportunities to teach outside of my daily school and work life. As an undergraduate at Middlebury College, I volunteered to teach beginning German at a local elementary school. After college, I taught seventh-grade Faith Formation at my church and also led monthly, 3-hour Confirmation preparation classes.
