I love working with children and feel that is my God given talent. I believe that all children can and will learn with the proper time given to them. All children learn differently. I have been working with elementary children for 19 years. I have expericence as a Title 1 Teacher Assistant, Special Education aide, Substitute teacher and Sunday school teacher. A Little Bit About Me...

I believe teaching should be preparation for the real world outside of school. For that reason I strive to make all assignments relevant, meaningful, and useful to the students. I try to fuel motivation by making the assignments fun and purposeful. I hold students to a high standard as preparation for future jobs (no late work, no coming in to class late, etc.) I believe every student can be reached, but that all students are at different levels and require their own amount of one-on-one help, motivation, challenge, and dedication. It is my goal to help students become independent learners and to further their education to help them have the best future possible.

A Little Bit About Me...

As a working professional, I was driven later in life to get a degree that was started right after high school. I initially had 90 course hours towards a Social Work degree, and when I returned changed it to business. I have a BS in Business Management, and I only have one class left to get my Masters(MBA). This has allowed me to have a vast bit of working experience in math and accounting. I have exceptional grammatic skills, due to weekly submitted papers in each class. I have been a elementary substitute teacher in the past, and have trained and evaluated new pharmacy technicians for over 20 years.
