I have been a substitute teacher and tutor for general education and special education students of the Williamson County School District. Before that, I was working with adults and students in a ministry environment back in Texas as a worship leader and music teacher. My education has centered around music, theology, and literature primarily (with a general exposure to various other sciences).

A Little Bit About Me...

I love helping people, particularly children, reach their full potential by becoming life-long learners. Whenever I meet with a student, whether it be one-on-oe or in the classroom, I strive to identify his/her learning style and to create a connection to the lesson to his/her future experiences in the world beyond the classroom. I believe that education is the key to creating citizens with a sense of self-efficacy and a belief that one man or woman can make a differnce.
While earning my MA in English, I spent two years tutoring students in English and training/mentoring other tutors. For the last two years, I have been designing and delivering trianing curriculum. My work in clinical psychology has been mostly with children, the severely mentally ill, and abuse cases.
