Graduating from Northwestern University, I know what it takes to succeed in the classroom. I received two degrees in math and economics, giving me a strong foundation in math and science. Upon graduation I worked for two years with a Christian ministry where I gained experience mentoring students one-on-one and in small group Bible studies. Currently I am pursuing my master’s degree at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. I really believe learning science is meant to be an experience, not just an exercise in memorization. I like to teach things with hands-on activities and field experiences. I feel like this helps the student internalize things more effectively and allows them to see that science truly can be FUN!
