A Little Bit About Me...

As an Adjunct Professor in Humanities at Prairie State College for the past 5 years, I have acquired a wide variety of teaching skills at the College Level. In addition, since my undergraduate work I have always tutored in various departments, Mathematics calculus and college algebra. French and Hebrew at the University of Chicago, and presently, private tutoring in French, and at Prairie State College, in Philosophy, Mathematics, and Humanities. My teaching style consists of finding that unique style that will suit each individual student. Growing up, I noticed that it was very hard for certain students to grasp certain concepts because they were not engaged in the teaching method. It is no secret that everyone learns a certain way, and no two ways are ever the same. I believe that my patience, my calm demeanor, and habit of wanting to make learning something fun rather than a job has certainly helped me in my education.
