A Little Bit About Me...

Have taught many of my peers in a wide variety of subjects including history, science, and math. I also taught Introductory Biology lab course at the University of Dayton. I have also taught in a more informal environment at the Great Lakes Science Center, where I ran science day camps for grades 2-8. Also played varsity football in college, which I would be more than happy to tutor in as well. I graduated from Oberlin College in 2012 where I majored in Biology. My comments on tutoring Bio Chemistry : As a college graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Medicinal and Biological Chemistry, biochemistry represents a large portion of my education. My undergraduate research work with resveratrol as a treatment for Alzheimer's utilized many of the principles contained within biochemistry, as does my current work as an analytical chemist.

My tutoring style is very interactive and involves the use of self-made PowerPoint presentations that break-down difficult concepts into easy-to-understand principles, as well as practice problems to improve your understanding of the subject. I have helpe my 9th grader accelerated two years ahead in math in two years just because she could an dI was there to help her.
