A Little Bit About Me...

My experience and educational accomplishments enable me to be an effective teacher. This recent accomplishment gives me the ability to teach in an academic environment and also to apply my recent experience in test taking techniques. I have been very active volunteering in the public schools. My children’s state testing scores are in the top 1% and 4% in the nation for reading and math. I have been a strong supporter of making education exciting. Both of my children play the violin. They are also involved in sports and dance programs. I believe that learning can be fun and creative, which is why my approach to teaching often involves the use of visuals and hands on projects to reinforce subject matter. Having been a Sunday school teacher and youth group leader for almost 20 years, I hold a special place in my heart for children and teenagers.
