Throughout my high school and college careers, I had the privileged to tutor and help educate some of my fellow students and younger individuals. I was also a swim coach for three years and lessons instructor for seven. I have also had the wonderful opportunity to teach a few students and children with special needs and those who need a different method of teaching.

I have led several small groups of teenagers and young adults in Biblical studies at Prairie Hill Evangelical Free Church, several musical groups in practicing and performing, and a summer-long book club at Crown College. In gaining my Associate of Arts degree from Crown College, I also led many study groups on subjects ranging from Chemistry to Physics, English Literature to Creative Writing.

My comments on tutoring Painting : Watercolor is my favorite.

I taught a collegiate level graphic design course to intermediate and advanced students at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Typography, digital design, and consistency within design were emphasized. While there I taught traditional drawing and painting with a focus on teaching students to draw realistically. I guided all ages through color theory, design, drawing, painting, and printmaking. A Little Bit About Me...

My degree in English served me well in my two periods of teaching in South Korea and Chile. In the former, I taught young children through high school age English in private companies in and around the greater Seoul area. In Chile, I mostly taught adults at the corporate executive level, but also did some tutoring of younger children. I have always loved French and have studied the language consistently since middle school. Now, with a completed French minor, I have the confidence and ability to assist other students with language learning. I recently returned from a 4-month study abroad in France, where complete language immersion and intensive language classes greatly increased my comprehension and vocabulary.
