Calculus II is one of my top subjects! Math is like breathing! (Easy)

Breaking step down till a layman can understand and I love to be interrupted with questions.
I have tutored math very often and over the course of helping others, I've learned the British ways of solving a math problem is extremely easy while the American ways are a bit confusing for the students. I could remember a day while working at Dollar Tree HQ in the Finance Department, a math problem arises and it took my supervisor 12 minutes while I solved it in 45 seconds. We arrived at the same answer however, time is of the essence.

A Little Bit About Me...

I like teaching people of various ages because I can relate to most anyone. Teaching math is all about wording the problem, theorem, technique, etc into words and terms that a student can understand. In most cases, I am able to do that for my students.
In February 1996 I started tutoring remedial math and accounting in the TCC, Virginia Beach Campus, tutor lab. As I took more courses, the subjects I tutored grew. When I transferred to Virginia Wesleyan I joined their tutor lab an continued tutoring math and business classes. Since I graduated in 2000 with my business degree I have taken several math classes at TCC, the highest being Calculus IV. In that time, I have tutored family, friends, fellow students (as I pursued higher math classes) and coworkers, usually working for the fun of math and to help out friends. Over the last two years I have tutored as a part time job.

A Little Bit About Me...

As a graduate of a top-level liberal arts college, I found that great teachers are the best influence for great teaching. I have been teaching for 6 years with experience at the middle school, high school, and college level. I have tutored students in writing, math, science, music, and test prep. For three years, I ran the Kenyon College Statistics Clinic where I tutored students in entry and upper level statistics courses. I have extensive experience with various mathematical software packages and have one publication pending in which these packages were utilized.
