A Little Bit About Me...

I have been working with Microsoft Access for over seven years in the real world environment of health care insurance. My experience is not tied to the basic and safe approach of a typical classroom environment. Instead, I have had to learn and survive under the pressures of deadlines and required performance. I feel that this fact gives me a unique perspective, that can be shared with the would be Microsoft Access or Microsoft Excel developer. Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have..

I am very patient. My mother was a teacher and liked helping children and I believed that her genes have rubbed off on me as well. I like to help others succeed. I believe that an individual does not have a disadvantage, but a advantage when they make up their mind to do something. They can become great.

I tutor based on the individual's learning needs. I have encountered some that were visual learners ad everything had to be drawn/written out. I have also tutored students that can have me explain it and they grasp it easily. My teaching style changes according to the needs of the student because not every one learns the same. I do believe Accounting is a complex field and the student has to have an interest in the field to truly be successful in retaining what they are taught.
While earning my Masters in Accounting, I voluntarily tutored Undergrad students that were earning their Associates or Bachelors in Accounting.
