I worked for two years as a tutor at the Augusta State University Writing Center, tutoring all manner of students, from ESL to graduate students. I also tutored a student with aspergers; thus, I have experience working with special needs clients. I also do freelance editing. I am primarily versed in English, but if math (anything below pre-calculus) help is needed, I will gladly assist.
I change my teaching style depending on the client. With ESL students, I will often point out every mistake to them so that they can get used to seeing what the correct way looks like. College Student Eager to Tutor

I am patient and love to give one on one attention. I give all the time that is needed for the student to understand the material. I like to do a hands-on or demonstration to explain a topic, explain it with examples and then give practice problems.
I tutored at my high school for three years and have been surrounded by teachers my whole life. I am about to start tutoring at my college this summer and continue into the fall part time.
