Students have many different learing styles. I always like to pay attention to my students and learn their individual learning style. It is important to differentiate for the benefit of the students. My goal is to help students reach their abilities and capabilities in their education so that I can make a difference in them reaching their potential.
I have been an educator for 5 years in the public school system. I tutored through college and while I was getting my masters degree. I have taught from grades ranging from 2nd- 10th grade. I have always been excited to help others succeed. I have a young daughter myself, so I am very interested in early childhood development. I fully comprehend that there are many different learning styles and am capable of adapting my teaching methods to meet those of you or your child.
I have been out of college, working in the IT industry for about 8 years now. While in college, I tutored fellow students in the school's lab in the subjects of English and Mathematics. A Little Bit About Me...

I have tutored elementary students during my tenure in the Air Force on a volunterr basis. I worked as a Introduction to Computers instructor at Keiser College for two semesters. I have a fascination with math and numbers. My extensive experience with budgeting and using spreadsheets and formulas has kept me fresh with my math skills. I recently tutored a 50+ adult to take a math skills test for the CRC. He passed, and was had such a sense of accomplishment, after almost giving up hope that he could pass it.
I love to learn, and love passing that on to others. I am a patient personality, and I may present a problem to a student to evaluate where they are. Composition I and II were courses that introduced students to writing essays and the research paper. In addition, I have also taught English as A Second Language at Mississippi State University and Greater Columbus Learning Center. I taught grammar, reading, phonics, vocabulary, and conversational English. I also worked at RTP for a year as a GED tutor. I tutored math, social studies, and language arts. I also worked with students who were studying for the ACT.
