A Little Bit About Me...

I love teaching all grades and levels. The most important aspect of teaching is to know your student. Each individual learns in different ways, some are tactile learners, some are visual, and some are auditory learners. Incorporating all aspects into my teaching style assists the retention of the material. It also has to be relatable to the student, so we have to use relevant examples that they understand. All children can learn any subject if you can spark their interest. There is no better feeling than seeing the light turn on and the sense of accomplishment in a child's eyes.
I have completed all courses for my Associates Degree and was a trainer at my previous position. When in high school, I was a college preparatory student and graduated with a high school Diploma as well as 12 Advanced Placement courses and completed my International Baccalaureate diploma.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have never had a formal teaching position. However, in working with staff accountants in the firm I worked in, I was the one that helped explain issues and have always been told that I was very easy to approach and never intimidating. I have always felt that you do not make yourself look better by making someone else look bad. I never assume that the people I was helping understood everything. I have earned two bachelor degrees, BS in Business Administration with a concentration in International Business and BA in Spanish. I have 10 years of professional experience involving customer service, Spanish translation, tutoring, and training. As an ex-patriate, I was afforded the opportunity to learn Spanish fluently and have witnessed first hand its importance in business and life today. I also have elementary age children that I assist in the everyday learning processes.
