Most of my experience is informal with tutoring family members/church members/friends in whatever areas they were struggling. Nearly everyone was pleased with what I was able to teach them and they showed improvement. In addition to tutoring, I have also mentored. In particular, at Emory University, I have for three years served as a mentor to incoming freshmen. I homeschooled my own children and began an ACCREDITED highschool for home schoolers. I taught and tutored all subjects. I have also worked with several learning disabled children. I can teach/tutor pretty much any subject ages K-college. I have also worked in the Writing Lab at Clayton State College. I feeel very qualified for this job.
