My comments on tutoring Literature : I am a certified K-8 elementary teacher and have taught for 8 years. I have my Master's Degree in Reading. I have my Reading Specialist certification and have taught first grade for most of my career. Thus, I have extensive work teaching students the various aspects of Literature.

Teaching has always been my passion. From babysitting to leading summer camps, I have always enjoyed helping children learn. I received my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with English as a Second Language (ESL) and Spanish endorsements. I also have a Master's degree in Reading. I have been teaching elementary students for 8 years. I have taught Kindergarten through 5th grade students in the classroom. I love teaching young students and seeing them grow and succeed. I began my college journey as an English major. I decided to switch to Elementary Education to be able to reach future writers before they lost the love for it. I have worked with all ages from toddlers to seniors in high school. I have been published in world wide devotional for women along with a world wide magazine. I have taught writing in schools to children who were struggling as well. Writing is who I am. My passion has been there since I first learned how to write in Kindergarten.

Every student is different, therefore every student has different needs. Every student also can learn differently, whether it be by incorporating more or less visual learning strategies, auditory learning strategies, or using more of the "hands on" approach. I like working with grade-school students, but I like best a variety of teaching situations. That for me truly represents the challange of teaching.
