A Little Bit About Me...

I have no teaching experience therefore I have no teaching style. If I were a teacher I would teach the kids the information, have a question session and then review the information in a game type format. The kids will learn if you make the information interesting and fun. That way you will get thier attention.

I love to read and love to teach a love of reading. I originally volunteered with Literacy Dupage over 10 years ago, and renewed my training and volunteerism with them in 2008. My 2008 student recently moved out of the area. I currently work with Literacy Dupage working with ESL students and teaching basic reading skills to homeless persons who utilize the Public Aid to Deliver Shelter (PADS).

I am currently retired but offer over forty years of accounting and finance experience in the finanacial services industry. The majority of these years I held the CFO position. Prior to entering the corporate world I taught accounting at Triton and DuPage Community Colleges for 2.5 years.
