One on one tutoring style--I provide one on one tutoring sessions that include the use of a variety of instructional strategies including worksheets, workbooks, sight words, vocabulary, Venn diagrams and charts, flash cards, compositions and educational websites. Group tutoring is available that would involve using the same instructional strategies, but the instruction would take place in a group setting of 2 or more students and could involve the Jigsaw method which involves all students collaborating together to achieve academic skills.

Professional Tutoring for Elementary and Middle School Ages

Tutored for the Escambia County, Florida school system for several tutoring companies for the past three years providing SES tutoring to students who did not score well on standardized tests. Tutored online for a company providing tutoring in English to students from a private school in Texas. Some of these students spoke Spanish as their primary language. Elementary and Middle School Tutoring

2012-2013-SES Tutor, Escambia County, Florida- Provided tutoring for elementary aged students via a vendor for the county, Tutored Reading and Comprehension and Math to students who did not score well on standardized tests. 2010-2013-Private Tutor for several companies and independently, Tutored students of all ages in a variety of subjects at local libraries and in their homes.
One on one approach using a variety of instructional materials such as workbooks, worksheets, diagrams, flash cards, independent writing assignments and educational websites to promote and improve learning skills.
