I have been a substitute teacher for the last 25 years in different areas of the country where I have moved. I home-schooled my 2 children for 12 years mostly when I lived in Alaska. My strongest area of teaching is in English, and taught high school English as a full-time temporary position for a teacher on pregnancy leave. A Little Bit About Me...

Following the birth of my third child, I taught at her pre-school and caught the teaching "bug". I then completed a graduate program in Elementary Education, taught for one year in the public school system in Florida and then taught for one year in Alabama. I have the ability to help children struggling in reading to make great strides and as a result, gain the self-confidence to do well in school.
