I believe that all children should learn no matter what their ability or disability may be. There should be passionate teachers in the field to be able to take on the responsibility of helping children reach their full potential. As an educator, I nurture my students and provide an emotionally, stable atmosphere while maintaining high expectations for all. I graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi where I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Deaf Education. I have been tasked with improving the reading and writing skills of my students 9th through 12th grade. The majority of children are left brain thinkers and need to be challenged to utilize the right brain to evaluate, analyze, interpret, and understand the meaning of concepts and ideas.
