A Little Bit About Me...

I enjoy teaching children and adults of all ages, although most of my experience has come from teaching college age kids. I believe that everyone learns in different ways and one aspect of teaching I enjoy the most is working with someone to find the method of learning that is best for them. Once someone has discovered their method of learning it makes the process so much more enjoyable for both the student and myself. I am very patient, easy going and considerate and work hard to connect with my students as both an educator, friend and role model.
As a double major in Economics and Sociology I gained extensive experience with both mathematics as well as writing and oral presentations. I attended Heritage University for 3.5 years in pursuit of my Nursing degree. I have taken College math, written many college papers, and studied alot of science along the way. I also cordinated a mentor program through YVCC for almost two years. I have recently changed paths and with obtain my BA in criminal justice in less than a year.
