While in High School, I developed a love for the language and all of the different cultures of the Spanish speaking world. My comments on tutoring American History : I love American History because I am an American. Knowing ones history is very important to me. Knowing where you came from is a good starting point for when deciding your goals or path in life.

My teaching style varies according to the student. I am able to adjust to the needs of the person or person I am tutoring.
I have 11 years of experience as a Paraprofessional on the secondary level. I work with children that have all kinds of learning disabilities and mild behavior problems. I have great skills in managing small groups of students and can carry out any accomodations on an IEP. I am fair, fun, but firm. A Little Bit About Me...

A Little Bit About Me...

Education has always been one of my greatest facinations. I achieved a BA in English grammars, a MLA in creative writing, and fifteen credits towards a PhD in literature and literary criticism. I discovered the writing center at my undergraduate university and became a tutor immediately. I found that I was in a position to learn just as much at the students I tutored.
