I earned a degree in Applied Mathematics and have always been "the go to guy" when my friends high school aged kids need help with their math homework. I hold my own teenagers to a rigorous standard with their studies. A Little Bit About Me...

My love of teaching is stimulated most when working with students who require the most assistance. Through my study in Educational Psychology, I have learned that all students have their own learning styles; I am able to quickly recognize students' learning styles and fashion my teaching style to what works best for each student. I employ a great deal of Vygotsky's research when teaching; that is to say that I fully understand Vygotsky's notion of how students' learning curves require a variety of sources to pull from such as media, books, music, and other people with whom to discuss their learning experiences.
