A Little Bit About Me...

I have been a life-long learner and a teacher for the last five years. I taught college for two years and elementary school for three years in the classroom. I have been an on-line tutor for the past year. Although history is my passion and I love to teach and discuss it, I also enjoy teaching reading and math to elementary students that will use this knowledge to move ahead in life and realize theselves.

I graduated from the University of Nevada Las Vegas in 2007 with a BA in communication studies. The curriculum at UNLV has given me a solid foundation in both my written and verbal communication skills. I also completed the gerontology program as well in 2007. I have been involved with senior theater programs, and I am currently mentoring for a non-profit organization.
