World History is one of my top subjects! I hold a Master's in History.

I have been a life-long learner and a teacher for the last five years. I taught college for two years and elementary school for three years in the classroom. I have been an on-line tutor for the past year. Although history is my passion and I love to teach and discuss it, I also enjoy teaching reading and math to elementary students that will use this knowledge to move ahead in life and realize theselves.
I am a strong believer in Humanistic learning. The teacher begins with the student's prior knowledge and likes and moves forward from there relating it not only to the study of the subject, but also to how the subject will be applied in real world situations.

My teaching style is progressive. I believe education should be entertaining, however not entertainment. I enjoy challenging my students, however to do this effectively it is important that they remain engaged. One of the ways in which I do this is to encourage students to think creatively. Creativity is the key to success with education. I am well rounded in most subjects, I play several instuments and sing. I am an excellent mechanic, plumber, household electrician, and carpenter.
