Each child learns differently so I try to explain in ways they can understand. I listen to what and how they need help and try to relate that to helping them understand better. I try to get them to discover the answers on their answer and feel comfortable with explaining how they got the answer.
I am a graduate of UNC Greensboro with a BS in Exercise Sport and Science. I have also worked 3 years as an assistant teacher and a floater in a daycare. I believe that mathematics is a hard subject to teach only because it's a subject that may not come as innately easy to most. Therefore it's very important to teach math from a visual perspective inorder to allow the students not only to have a theoretical concept of math but a visual concrete feel for the subject.
