Enthusiastic learner and tutor!

With respect to tutoring, I worked during the summer of 2009 as a teachers assistant for a summer-school program known as Korea Poly. The students were 3-6th graders and required assistance in completing homework and practicing and refining their English writing and speaking skills. My duties included checking and correcting homework assignments, and being available during the homework hours for questions and help. I got 760 in my PSAT test I tutored my geometry teachers son and raised him from failing to a b level in 4 months. I got my CSET in History and Chemistry. I have all my crendentile classes done at CSULB. I left Long Beach before i could do my student teaching. One class really taught me the importance of building a teaching style with all of the learning styles involved. Whether it is visual, kinesthetic, audio, or reading, a good teacher will take the time to incorporate all of these into their style. I think this is so important especially when working with children because a child is at a very impressionable age with great imagination.
