I believe in teaching to students they way they learn and working in small groups as well as large groups. I also believe in using technology and hands on activities. A Little Bit About Me...

I want all children to have a chance. I feel that as a graduate of an accredited university, I am qualified to help the children get to where they need to be. With a quality education, they can begin to explore a world of so many possibilities. I want to let the children know that there are many choices in the world and that by steadily climbing up that educational ladder, the possibilities are endless.
I have received my BA in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice. Combining the the two fields has enabled me to work with many different people of many different age groups. I tutored at the local elementary school for two summers straigth and absolutely loved it. Children are a joy to work with becuase they are eager to learn. I feel that if you make it interesting for a child then their learning experience becomes something that they won't forget.
After I graduated high school I went to a community college just to get the feel of college. I decided to major in speech because I was interested in correct speech. Not only how words were pronounced but also what mechanisms that are used to produce correct speech. I went on to Delta State University to pursue my Bachelor's in Speech and Hearing, and might I add they had a spectacular program. I learned a lot more than what makes a person have a speech disorder.
