THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A BAD STUDENT!

I have been a classroom teacher for over 20 years. I have taught all subjects in elementary school, English, history, and mathematics in middle school, and English composition and literature in high school. Additionally, I have taught mass communication and creative writing in high school. I have taught remedial English, freshman composition, and technical writing on a collegiate level. COLLEGE STUDENT WILLING TO GO THE EXTRA MILE

I have finished many of my math classes through high school with A's. I absolutely love writing stories and essays. The lowest grade I have receives on any writing assignment was a B. I have tutored many of times before and my students did extremely well. One student started with me with a grade of D in math and picked it up to an A.
I love to make things interesting. I struggled with science in middle school and required a tutor. This person didn't make learning the subject fun, so from there I decided that with everything students learn a little fun should be involved. As soon as the student becomes stressed, I do some kind of physical activity with them to make them feel better.

I enjoy explaining certain concepts and then I may give the student a few problems to work on their own. I also love to create little tricks and fun ways to remember certain concepts. If possible, I love to you use hands on activities.
I have tutored in high school. After getting to college, I tutored on campus for four years in subject areas: Math, English, and Spanish. I have taken a few education courses. I have taught a lesson at a high school. I have also been introduced to different techniques/ways of teaching. Some people have a fear of math, but I love it and enjoy teaching it.
