I have worked in the Education field for 9 years. I started off as a substitute teacher and later became a "permanent substitute" in 2002. In this same year, I also became a class monitor for Psycho-Edu with the Johnson Co. School System. These jobs both required me to help teach elementary students in every subject. My goal as a teacher is to help children appreciate learning and have fun while doing. I beleive that we all learn in different ways and a person should use a learning strategy that works best for them. I am available to help your child succeed academically. My first tutoring experience occurred during my attendance at South Georgia College (SGC). At SGC I was a tutor for Student Support Services and was responsible for providing academic tutoring to my peers in various academic subjects. After graduating from SGC, I continued to provide tutoring services with the Sylvan Learning Center and the America Reads program at the University of Georgia.
