I have a Bachelor of Arts from Susquehanna University and an Elementary Teaching Certificate from Bucknell University. Most recently I was an educational liaison in an alternative classroom in the Pocono Mountain School District. I worked for a technology company providing online curriculum for the students. While in the classroom, I tutored the students in all subject areas where they had difficulty, but specifically concentrating on tutoring the math courses. As a teacher there is nothing more rewarding than the look on a child's face when a skill is mastered or a mystery becomes an understood concept. Despite the fact that the children were all the same age, whatever developmental or cognitive delays a child might have, is not being addressed, therefore making the teaching environment, very stressful. Prior to the preschool classes, I taught as a substitute in the school district where I attended college.
